Emily Willingham comes to Georgia Highlands from Excel Christian Academy in Cartersville, Georgia. A four-year letterman, Willingham took home three All-County Awards while also being selected to the All-Region Team. At Excel, she garnered the Best Defensive Player three consecutive years in a row.
Willingham also lettered in Basketball where she was made the All-Region Team and was selected as Excel's Most Valuable Player and given the Distinguished Christian Character Award. Willingham is also a member of FCA, Student Council, Cartersville Youth Group, and SPLASH Bartow.
Coach Wood States: "Willingham is incredibly athletic. She works hard, can hit for power, and has a great glove defensively."
Willingham States: "I chose to attend Georgia Highlands because I feel like it is a great opportunity to be a part of the first softball team, and being close to home while getting an education is a great fit for me."
